I am a new french member.
Excuse me, my english and my german are poor !
Since 8 years, I use a good turntable THORENS TD 520 with a tonearm
SME 3012 R.
Now, I would want to find a new "high-performance" machine. I have
2 choices :
- BRINKMANN Bardo
- BERGMANN Magne
In France, I don't find informations about people who use this
turntable MAGNE.
It is for me an expensive purchase and I don't want to do a mistake.
Maybe,on this forum, somebody use this turntable, so
if you could answer to my questions, I would be very happy :
Still use it you ?
Is the sound excellent ?
Is it easy to use and to adjust the tangential tonearm ?
Is the compressor pump really silent ?
Is this system reliable for a long time or have you experienced
problems with the turntable, the tonearm or the compressor ?
Because of the dust ?
In the past, a lot of people had problems with tangential tonearms.
But it was not the same technology ?
As you see, I have many questions. I am not quiet because this
system is new for me !
Do you know my other choice, BRINKMANN Bardo, very famous in Germany
?
In Paris, it is very difficult for listening this turntable. The
retailers don't use it for demonstration.
I don't have others questions anymore for the moment !!!
