coorporative or happier on a recording date for this venturesome album with
both refusing to play it safe.

Manchmal ist ea such schön den ganz alten Jazz zu hören:
Flat Foot Stompers - Vol 1 (Teldec, DE, 1982)
Nicht das die Band selber alt ist, aber die Musik die sie spielen ist es. Sie bewegt sich zwischen Dixieland, New Orleans und wenn es ganz wild wird Kansas City, also alles Musik bevor der Swing aufkam. Eine deutsche Band des Revival. Gute Laune Musik und gut anhörbar.

Das tolle Max Roach Quartett der 80er im freiem Flug über eine 40 minütige Komposition von Cecil Bridewater in zwei Teilen mit viel Raum für Solo-Improvisationen. Und eine Platte mit dem von mir sehr gern gehörten Odean Pope.
