Dynavector DV P-100 Phonopreamp

    Frage an die Dynavector- Kenner hier in der Runde....

    Wer kann mir etwas zu dieser Phono sagen (ich meine nicht das "Bastlergerät mit Röhren" aus dem Netz). Gibt es eventuell ein Manual oder einen Testbericht aus ca. 1996 ?

    Anpassung am MM und MC Tonabnehmer möglich?

    Es lassen sich offenbar 2 TA gleichzeitig anschließen (MM und MC).


    Mehr Info's habe ich auch im IN nicht finden können.

    Auf eine Anfrage per Email an Dynavector habe ich bisher keine Antwort erhalten.

    Thank you for your email regarding the Dynavector P100 Phono Amplifier.


    The P100 was our original Phono Amplifier and has a fully passive RIAA stage. Also, it is effectively 2 separate phono amplifiers in the one chassis. One phono amplifier is for Low Output MC and the other for High Output MC.


    Both can be connected at the one time e.g. if you had 2 turntables, one with a Low Ouput MC and the other a High Output MC.


    The first P100 was manufactured around 1997 and the last ones around 2003 (?). It has developed a bit of a cult following!


    The one disadvantage of the P100 is that having a passive RIAA stage, the overall gain is limited to about 58dB and so this can be an issue with low output moving coils.


    Today, the P100 has been superseded by the latest generation of P75 mk4 Phono amplifiers using the latest technology to give superior overall performance.


    We do not have an Owner's Manual available for the old P100 model, however I have attached a few notes from 2001 that you may find of use.


    In view of the age of this unit, it may be worthwhile having it checked out and perhaps the aluminium electrolytic capacitors in the power supply replaced? They were the best parts available at the time but if the unit has been in constant use, switched on 24/7 these parts may be reaching the end of their life? Modern replacements offer superiour performance and almost 4 times the lifetime of similar parts in the 1990's.


    As you are in Germany we have an excellent distributor who is a great local resource. While they will not have ever seen a P100 - as it was well before their time with Dynavector, they can certainly work through us and offer assistance and advice...."

    Mich hätten schon persönliche Erfahrungen interessiert. Dass der Hersteller die Info gibt, dass das Nachfolgemodell um Längen besser ist, hätte man erwarten können...

    Ja,

    Ich hatte vor ca. 10 Jahren einen DV P100 für 2 Monate als Leihgabe bekommen, da ich nur einen internen im Linn Wakonda hatte. Der P100 war ganz o.k. aber der Dynavector P 75 MK2 war schon besser als der P 100.

    Den Tipp mit dem P75 hat mir der Verleiher des P100 gegeben.

    Wenn man den DV P75 dann noch mit einem KECES Netzteil betreibt spielt er herausragend gut...

    Der P 100 ist somit für mich keine Option gewesen.
