Fragen zur Linn ISOBARIK DMS (erste Generation mit Einbau-Winkel-XLR Buchse und zweite Generation mit 6 Buchsen für Bananenstecker)

    Die erste Generation hatte den "Wasserhahn" -Anschluss - sieht aus wie dieser abgew. Kabelanschluss

    jedoch als Einbau-Version.

    1) Wo gibt es abgewinkelte XLR Einbaubuchsen und -stecker ?

    2) Welche Foto-URLs existieren betreffend Öffnung und Chassis-Austausch (ich hatte sie mal dazu geöffnet, wobei ich mangels Detailkenntnis wahllos mit der Stichsäge Ausschnitte anlegte zwecks weiterer Öffnungs-Schritte. Hat zu guter Letzt alles gut geklappt (Öffnungsschnitte wurden nach Präzisierung mit Leimholz-Platten abgedeckt und verschraubt), ist aber ca. 25 Jahre her und Fotos wurden leider nicht gemacht - daher die Frage.

    Für eine Kosteneinschätzung zwecks Austausch der Chassis der nach oben abstrahlenden Mittel-Hochtoneinheit und der Schaumstoff-Abdeckung (Grill) hätte ich folgende Bezugsquellen gefunden:

    Da die Lautsprecher-Chassis in der Front-Schallwand einwandfrei sind, könnte man für die oberen Chassis, die nur den indirekten Schallanteil (haupts. Deckenreflexionen) erhöhen, preiswertere Ausführungen wählen.


    Gibt es hier Erfahrungswerte ?


    Welche aktive Frequenzweiche von Naim (NAXOS-Serie) wurde für Aktivbetrieb von Linn empfohlen und auf Messevorf. verwendet, als Linn noch keine eigene Verstärker-Elektronik hatte ?

    Es gibt natürlich mehrere Threads dazu, aber das habe ich auf die Schnelle gefunden (ohne Bilder zwar):

    "tweeter: unscrew all screws. Find a fat self tapping screw with a large head.


    Screw into a screw hole in the tweeter plastic. Use a claw hammer to gently lever the self tapper to break the seal, protecting the veneer with a small peice of wood.


    Repeat this on the remaining holes and the unit should lift out.


    When you desolder the wires, tape them to the top of the speaker 'cos if you drop them in it will be a pain getting them back.


    B110: the same method will work with the mid providing the self tapper is the correct fit in the hole."


    "To remove the B139's in the Barik you need to be a little brave ( I don't mean a small red Indian).
    If the front one is proving difficult to prise out with a wide wood chisel, with the veneer protected.
    Measure from the very front bottom edge of the wood back to the baffle.
    From underneath drill a 1/4 inch hole through the base up towards the front of the speaker at the measured distance from the front.
    A screw driver can then be pushed through the hole from underneath and pushed behind the chassis front, a push backwards and the driver will lever out.
    The inner one is done exactly the same, the measurement being taken from the front edge again back to the inner baffle."
    When all work is completed a dowel is glued back in the hole and cut off flush."
